Hello journalists, editors, reporters and stringers:
I'm kind of new here in beautiful Leland. Even though my mailing address is Winnabow, I pay
taxes to Leland so I consider myself a legit member of the local populace.
I enjoy reading "My Premier Hometown Paper". I really like reading the Police
Blotter - especially when I make sure that my name is not mentioned therein. The part, or parts of the paper that I
don't enjoy as much are those that suffer from an absence of...shall I say...proofreading?
And that is the reason for this e-mail. I would like to humbly offer my modest but adequate
talents to the paper's staff in that capacity.
I would not need to be paid for my services. I would consider it an honor and a pleasure to
be part of the enterprise.
If you could see a place for me at the newspaper please let me know.
Sincerely,
Lewis Fox
